Local PBS Stations throughout the great state of Texas will premiere a new travel show called “The Daytripper”
After a successful launch in Austin last fall, not only will the show return to Austin’s PBS station KLRU this fall for its second season, it will also celebrate a spring premiere in these markets:


College Station on KAMU: Saturdays at 8 p.m. beginning April 3

Killeen on KNCT: Saturdays at 3 p.m. beginning April 10

Waco on KWBU: Sundays at 1:30 p.m. and Fridays at 10 p.m. beginning April 18

Houston on Houston PBS: Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. beginning May 1

Dallas on KERA: Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. beginning May 1

Corpus Christi on KEDT: Mondays at 7:30 p.m. and Fridays at 11:30 p.m. beginning June 14

San Antonio on KLRN: Sundays at 1:30 p.m. beginning July 4

Amarillo on KACV: Tuesdays at 8 p.m. beginning July 6

Midland on Basin PBS: Date and time are pending

Lubbock on KTXT: Date and time are pending

Grammy®-Nominated electro trio, The Bama Boyz, produce Beyoncè's latest single 'Why dont' you love me' and claim:
‘This song almost didn't happen!’
On Tuesday, May 4, an internet frenzy erupted when Beyoncé surprised fans by personally releasing her latest video “Why Don’t You Love Me”. The video received over 1.5 million combined views within the first 60 hours and was a trending Twitter topic during its debut. What’s also just as unexpected and interesting as the video’s release is the unexpected producers of the song and their story of how the song came to be.

SuperLiteBike to release debut album
Away We Go
A local favorite in the world’s Live Music Capital, the members of SuperLiteBike have captured their infamous live energy in their soon-to-be released debut album, Away We Go. The band will celebrate with an official album release party on Thursday, May 13 at The Parish in Austin.

Inner Me Studios, located at 617 Richmond Avenue, will host an Open House benefiting Soles4Souls: Project Haiti.  There will be live demonstrations of their creative fitness classes including Pole Dancing Aerobics, Belly Dancing and Stiletto Fit.  Guests are asked to bring a pair of lightly used athletic shoes to donate.  Bowl Café will provide hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment will be provided by Elroy Boogie.

Monumental Sculpture Exhibition of Works by Bernar Venet

The Daze releases Straightjacket Hymns at Antone’s
The Daze will release their multifarious debut album, Straightjacket Hymns, on August 27. Prior to that on August 14, the band and their song, “Blizzard Woman Blues,” will be on the big screen in the upcoming feature film, “Bandslam,” scheduled to hit theatres nationwide on August 14. Members Evan Butts (guitar/vocals), Chris Ritchie (bass), and Aaron Lemke (drums/percussion) will celebrate the release with a performance at Austin’s legendary Antone’s Nightclub on August 27.

Houston-based artist Wendy Wagner takes her beloved, whimsical paintings and Qwerkys™ to Japan. Gallery Trinity, located at 9-6-19-1F Akasaka in the Roppongi district of central Tokyo, will display the latest collection of Wagner’s paintings as well as her soft sculpture line, the Qwerkys™.
